huge mulberries!
i made a pie filling with 3c mulberries, 1/3c flour, 1/3c sugar, a sprinkling of nutmeg and ginger and cinnamon and coriander, and a bit of citrus juice -- i used kumquat, lemon would be fine. it was one of the nicest pies i ever made.

Hello

You have got a nice blog. There is a problem though. I couldn't find any way to search your archive. It's annoying to manually go through several months. Please add a search box to the layout of your blog. Here is a link to a ordinary search box that you can add to your Blogger layout.

How To Add Search Box

Nice pic ... they sure are ripe ...best part of these fruits despite being fully ripe ...they have a tangy bitter-sweet taste ... which goes well with anything with almost anything ... i wonder it'd make a nice garnishing ingredient for a plate of fruit salad ...

Oh my...it's been years since I thought of mulberries. Growing up, my neighbour and I had mulberry trees. When I was little I practised my...graffiti... by drawing on our white brick with the ripened berries...it washed off in the rain :)

We never did anything with them...apart from eating them with a bit of sugar...the birds got most of them.
